That's true. I often just remember enlightening conversations with friends randomly and realize at that moment how great they were.

The key in all of these scenarios is to write down the ideas immediately. Goodness knows how many I have forgotten!

What I figured out -

If you are a writer, you have to be in a topic searching zone. You must develop a knack to pick out things from your experiences when you reflect.

But for that, you need to have experiences which wont come if you only write.

Live your life and write.
